Chronic inflammation is becoming a hot topic in the field of health and wellness. There is a reason that those three items are part of just about every list you can find that talks about ways to improve your health. Just doing those three simple things will improve your health, your mental functioning, your attitude and it will just make you feel better. All of that combines to improve the relationship that you have with your friends and family too.
When you improve your diet, it means that you are getting more of the important nutrients that help your body to function at a higher level. Many people believe that since they don’t feel sick, it means their current diet is sufficient. However, there is a difference between eating to survive and being able to function during the day and eating to operate at your peak.
The foods that are the most beneficial to your health aren’t needed for you to be able to function. However, if you want to operate at your peak and give your body more of a chance to prevent things like inflammation, cancer, arthritis, heart disease, etc, you should eat better.
The same principles apply to exercise and getting enough sleep. You get a little bit of exercise during the day just by walking to the car, going to the grocery store, cleaning the house and doing yard work. In many cases, people feel like this is enough. However, if you made the decision to start strength and aerobic exercise, you would improve your bodies ability to fight off many different kinds of diseases.
Getting more sleep might be the hardest thing to do because your life is already so busy. It usually seems easier to just get up earlier or stay up later in order to get something done. However, you have to understand that not getting enough sleep will increase that inflammation that your body has to deal with each day.
